Rain or shine – we’ve got you covered!

The Tallet - our flexible indoor ceremony space and how you can make it work for you.

It’s been a funny old year for weather, and I think it’s safe to say it’s not going to get any more predictable any time soon!

However, this is England after all, renowned for unpredictable weather!  Every year is different, and it’s not unusual to get four seasons during the course of a single day, so choosing your wedding date based on the likelihood of good weather can be very hit and miss.

That’s why here at Harefield Barn we’ve made sure to provide as many options as possible in the shape of The Tallet. The Tallet is our gorgeous ceremony room, which can stand ready – whatever the weather.

Licensed for up to 100 people, it has a very different, almost intimate atmosphere, so even for couples who dream of getting married outside, it doesn’t feel too much of a compromise.  In fact, we have had brides who love it so much that they choose to get married in The Tallet, even if it’s glorious outside, because they love its ambience and want to use every possible area in the Barn!

Even if an ‘al fresco’ ceremony is your plan A, then it’s great that The Tallet can be set up and ready for action, as it means that you can make a last minute decision based on what the lovely English weather is doing! Instead of having to make the call days beforehand, you can decide on the morning of the wedding –  we just need enough time to set out the chairs.

The Tallet also makes the most romantic space for a winter ceremony… the wooden arch in place ready for you to decorate, and a wonderful atmosphere created with twinkling fairy lights and flickering candles.

So we’ve really got you covered whatever the beautiful British weather throws at you (after all, that’s why our ‘green and pleasant land’ looks the way it does!), so if you’d like to come and see how The Tallet gives you that element of flexibility, and experience it for yourself, we’d love to see you, so give us a call to arrange your personal viewing.
