Si and Alex were one of the many couples who were affected by the Covid restrictions, but somehow, they managed to turn that into an amazingly positive experience!
Legally married in a quiet ceremony here at Harefield Barn in December 2020, Alex and Si had a lovely day shared with family and friends, but there’s no way they were going to leave it at that! So almost exactly a year later, they returned, and this time it was for a full on celebration, and what a day it was!
Phoebe from Elisabeth Shell Events masterminded and coordinated the whole day, bringing together all Alex and Si’s ideas and making sure everything went without a hitch.
After a fun-filled morning of preparations in The Leveret Suite, I was privileged to conduct a personal ceremony of commitment for the happy couple, before they headed downstairs to join their guests for mulled cider and wine, followed by a feast from Ben Apetito.

As the light faded, the Barn was filled with twinkling lights and candles, and an amazing evening of dancing was kicked off by a show-stopping performance from Daniel Costin and his saxophone
With blankets and marshmallows for the fire pit and a firework finale too, it was a pretty perfect end to a perfect day!
