We are thrilled to share some very exciting news! Our daughter Hettie was persuaded by her boyfriend to leave the cosy house early on Boxing Day morning to take their dog for a walk in the orchard. Amongst the windswept cider apple trees he went down on one knee, and the rest, as they say, is history! Hugs and tears of joy followed, as we were shown the ‘temporary’ ring, beautifully crafted by our son out of Walnut and Oak grown on the farm.

A very warm welcome to Sam as he officially joins the family and huge congratulations to them both as they announce their engagement and start planning their wedding, which, of course, will be held at Harefield Barn!

We therefore have our first booking and can’t wait to festoon the barn with twinkling lights for the 1st December!
